David Benavidez has ambitions plans for next year.
The 26-year-old pulled off a terrific victory over the previously unbeaten Demetrius Andrade on Saturday night.

He looked utterly dominant, as Benavidez showed off his skills, speed and power to knock Andrade down in the fourth round.
And then the American's corner called off the fight at the end of round six, not wanting him to continue taking a beating.
This leaves Benavidez with wins over Andrade and Caleb Plant this year, as he closes in on a third shot at the world title.
Benavidez has been WBC champion twice previously at 168lbs, but he has been stripped of the title on both occasions, firstly for testing positive for cocaine and then the second time due to missing weight.

Immediately after his latest win, Benavidez called out current undisputed super middleweight world champion Canelo.
"I solidified myself as the dominant performer I am. Just give me the fight that we all wanna see," Benavidez said.
"Who wants to see me versus Canelo?"
He added: "I'm gonna be the super-middleweight champion of the world, three-time world champion."

And his ambitions don't stop there, as he outlined his plans for 2024 in an interview with ESNEWS, saying he wanted to move up to light heavyweight to take on WBA champion Dmitry Bivol and unified WBC, WBO and IBF title holder Artur Beterbiev.

"Canelo first and then go up to 175lbs and beat Bivol and then maybe Beterbiev," Benavidez said.
"I think, I don't think, I know that's possible and I can accomplish that."
