A compact, evergreen Clematis that is a perfect choice for planting in patio containers. A new addition to the Forsteri group of Clematis which originate from New Zealand and are loved for their evergreen foliage which adds year-round interest to the garden. Highly floriferous, from April to May, a profusion of starry white flowers with protruding lime green stamens in each centre above attractive, glossy, dark green, evergreen foliage. Vigorous in habit, it is perfect for training to grow up vertical garden structures such as a wall or obelisk, it can also be left to scramble through other shrubs and hedges where it will quickly and easily cover the space. Clematis Pruning Group 1 - does not require regular pruning but if pruning is needed, then this can be done after flowering has finished. Prefers to be planted in a moist but well-drained soil in a position of full sun. Height 1.5m. Spread 1m.
